Friends of Cavite City Library and Museum and Cavite City - USA
The Friends of CCLM is a group of city residents who care enough to help improve the facilities of CCLM. To date, they have donated a computer set, a scanner, a copying machine, history books, showcases and display boards to us.
The FCCLM also aim to help in the preservation of Cavite City's historical and cultural heritage. Thus the FCCLM holds lectures, symposia, and other activities to promote and cultivate the people's awareness of our rich history and culture.

CAVITE CITY - USA
Cavite City-USA is a group of Cavitenos who have migrated to the United States. Aside from sending boxes of books, the CCUSA has donated a TV/VHS set for our Children's Section, which is very useful for showing educational videos, especially to young children.
The CCUSA also donated the bookshelves that now line one wall of our library, as well as a digital camera to help us document our museum collection.
During Mrs. Remy Villanueva's term, CCUSA donated a brand new set of Encycopedia Britannica, a set of reading table with 4 chairs, a stand fan and a bulletin board. which are now in our college section.
We are ever thankful to CCUSA officers and members led by current President Nelia Santiago-Abarro, who recently visited CCLM .
Former president Jun Facundo donated to us the replica of the old Ermita de Porta Vaga church at Cavite Puerto. The replica was originally made by his father, former city councilor Delfin Facundo, and restored by CCLM staff Benjamin Inocencio and Anthony Castro. It is certainly an object of interest in the library.
CCUSA liaison officer for CCLM is Rene Escobar, who personally donates to us our subscription to National Geographic.
Rolan Sanchez donated a computer set to us.
This just proves the old adage : "You can take the Caviteno out of the city but you cannot take the city out of the Caviteno."
Hence, Cavitenos, no matter where they are, still long for home, and are concerned enough to extend help especially if it is for the development of their city.
And one of the best ways to start is to help provide a great place where the youth of Cavite
City can read and learn.
The CCUSA , during the term of Mr. Boogie Olaes, and with much help from Mr. Rene Escobar, just recently donated a globe to CCLM.The globe is certainly a very important addition to our collection.
